Assistant Coaches
Booster money is used to to pay for the assistant coaches' stipends that are not covered by SHS Athletics. Only head coaches are paid by the Athletic Fee paid by each player.
Training Programs
This year we were able to subsidize the cost of winter training at the Swing Factory to reduce costs by 50%.
Annual Equipment Needs
We purchase bats and baseballs for the team to have during the season, as well as communication equipment for coaches and catchers, as needed. We also paid a portion of the cost to repair the scoreboard at the Frank DeFelice field, which is a WIN for all our teams!
Larger Equipment Purchases
Hitting screens have been purchased along with new netting for the “turtle” hitting shell
Fall Ball
A large investment is made every year to cover the costs of the teams Fall Ball League involvement.
Swag for the Team
If fundraising efforts are successful we hope to supply everyone in the program with hoodies and ¼ zips this Spring.
Senior Night/ Gifts
Celebrating our Seniors is always exciting! The funds we raise help to pay for banners, flowers, as well as end-of-the-season gifts for all of the Senior players. We have a BIG group this year, so we will need your help!
Banquet
Our end-of-the-season awards night and team celebration is 100% fundraiser dependent.
